In fact, Jonas, this is not Torrestio, Torrestio is behind those snowed mountains at 1350 mt of altitude and covered of snow, my family use to do trashumancia to that village during the summer, I continue going up and down with my horses and mastines every year.
Aplogize for the misleading text I added the text to the photos (Jonas was busy at his home with Apolo ) I should have written 'AfijoTorrestio'! We both went for a long walk to Torrestio one summer when we stayed in Sena de Luna... By the way your home is situated in a beautiful place. The view was breathtaking
When my mum was a child their cows, horses, sheep, mastines and family took 2 days and two nights to come from Torrestio, they crosed those mountains and she told me she could know the flock was arriving when coming from school by hearing the big bell, (cencerra) that ported the guide cow, you could hear it from two or three km, I never kwn that, in my childhood was it was already done in trucks and used to take 3 hours...down from Torrestio in November an up again in April, all that is gone...
